Six Charged After Palm Beach Home is Vandalized

Posted By Parks & Braxton || 14-Aug-2012

According to Florida Today, four men and a juvenile delinquent are facing charges after they broke into a two story Palm Bay Home and destroyed the garage door. They also smeared paint all over the walls and smashed the doors in a seemingly purposeless rage. The offenders include Ryan George Turner, 20, Joseph Gaimo, 25, Jonathan Polo, 14, James Dolwick, 35, and a 14-year-old teen. The defendants have been charged with burglary and criminal mischief.

The police believe that they inflicted several hundred dollars’ worth of damage to the house that is located on Andrew Street in Palm Bay. The fifth defendant in the case was Tyler Mulvaney, who has been charged with criminal mischief because he partook in splattering paint inside the home. He says that he was asked to join in after the men had already made their way into the vacant house. The police discovered that the men used a back window to get inside, and violated the command on signs that said “No Trespassing.”

These signs were all over the building. In the backyard, the boys broke into a shed and stole items that they believed would be of use. The men may have committed their crime thinking that it was all in fun, but they now face very serious charges. Many people are not aware of just how devastating their actions can be to their future. These men will probably all be issued criminal records and be forced to spend time in prison if they are convicted. This will affect their ability to get a job in the future and partake in all sorts of activities. Talk to a criminal defense lawyer in Fort Lauderdale if you have been charged with criminal mischief, robbery, breaking and entering, or another crime.
